KU President K. Yamao Konyak welcomed the participants, appreciating their positive response and active participation despite prevailing challenges. He encouraged the communities to share grievances or difficulties faced by their members so that the Union could extend necessary assistance.

He further appealed to all groups to actively participate in activities and festivals organized by the KU, Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK), Konyak Students’ Union (KSU), and the District Administration, highlighting that such collective participation would foster stronger coordination, mutual understanding, and harmony within Mon district and among Nagas as a whole.

Communities unable to attend were requested to keep the KU office informed through their respective unions.

The KU reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to promoting peace, harmony, and cooperation, while seeking continued support from both Non-Konyak communities and the wider Naga populace. Representatives of the Non-Konyak groups present also shared their concerns and extended congratulations to the newly inducted KU team.
